Access and use of services

Unauthorized access or disclosure of personally identifiable information, or any other abuse or misuse of access or services, is a violation of University policy and may violate the law.

Violations of law or University policy by students, faculty, or staff may result in prosecution, disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, and/or restriction of access to University electronic resources.

As a condition of your access to and use of our services, you agree to:

  1. Not use the services for any purpose that is unlawful, prohibited by University policy, or in violation of these terms of use.
  2. Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any services, information, computer systems, or networks connected to any Boise State University server or any Boise State University services.
  3. Not use the services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any server or network(s) or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of any services.
  4. Not use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the Website for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the Website, without Boise State University’s prior written consent.
